BCS Mate — Study to a plan

Overview

What BCS Mate does

BCS Mate turns the 50th BCS preliminary syllabus — 10 subjects, 200 marks, 0.5 negative marking — into a plan for each day. Enter your exam date and daily hours and it schedules what to read, what to revise and when to test, weighting every topic by how often the BCS prelims have asked it. Lessons are illustrated with maps, timelines and diagrams and can be read aloud. Every preliminary question from the 10th to the 50th BCS is in the bank with explanations. A daily live test and a weekly 200-mark OMR model test show where you stand, every wrong answer becomes a spaced-repetition flashcard, and an AI tutor answers in Bangla from the question bank and your own progress. It runs in the browser and installs to a phone's home screen like an app.

Who it's for

BCS preliminary candidates — final-year students, recent graduates, and working people with an hour a day

From Daily Exam to BCS Mate

BCS Mate grew out of Daily Exam, our first exam-prep platform. Daily Exam set out to be one study platform for every exam — BCS, HSC, SSC, SAT, GRE and admission tests — and it has been live for about three years.

It did not land the way we hoped. Students told us it was hard to find their way around, and even with free credits on signup, too few of them stayed long enough to make it part of their routine. A platform built for every exam ended up speaking clearly to none of them.

So we narrowed the focus. BCS Mate takes what we built for Daily Exam and rebuilds it around one exam — the BCS preliminary — with the 50th BCS syllabus, every past BCS paper, and a plan that tells a candidate exactly what to read today. We partnered with Infinity Publications to make the content broader and better, and we have put more work into this product than into anything we have shipped before.

BCS Mate is the first of several focused platforms. Dedicated versions for HSC and SSC, and for job exams, come next — each one a way to put Daily Exam's engine in front of the students it was meant for. We think this is the version that works.

BCS Mate — Where to start today
02 / 15Where to start todayThe home screen opens on the question every candidate asks — where do I start today? — with the exam 40 days away. Today's reading (10 items waiting), the live test, question bank, past papers, model test, syllabus, current affairs, resources, flashcards (33 due), statistics, knowledge map and plan are each one tap away.

BCS Mate — Today's list
03 / 15Today's listFifteen readings for the day, about four hours, mixing revision with new topics — and yesterday's ten unfinished items moved to the front instead of silently dropped. On the right: an estimated 111.1 of 200 against a target of 140, 243 of 300 topics done, and a 90-day board showing 47 of the last 51 days studied.

BCS Mate — A plan from your exam date
04 / 15A plan from your exam dateEnter the start date, exam date, daily hours and target score, then weight each subject up or down — Bangla and English at 1.40×, computers at 0.70×. BCS Mate turns that into a first-pass roadmap and says plainly when the pace won't finish the syllabus in time.
bcsmate.com
BCS Mate — The syllabus, scored
05 / 15The syllabus, scoredThe 50th BCS syllabus with progress per subject — Bangla language and literature at an estimated 16.8 of 30 marks, 58 of 63 topics started. Every topic shows how many BCS prelims asked it, its mastery and its revision date; here the list is filtered to the weak ones.
bcsmate.com
BCS Mate — Lessons built on real questions
06 / 15Lessons built on real questionsA math lesson on real numbers, fractions, LCM and HCF, taught through actual BCS questions — each tagged with the paper it came from (34th BCS, 29th BCS) and solved step by step, with a toggle to hide the working and try it yourself.
bcsmate.com
BCS Mate — Highlights and notes
07 / 15Highlights and notesThe Liberation War lesson. Select any text to highlight, underline, comment, save it to notes, hear it read aloud or ask the AI. Common traps get their own callouts — here, who drafted the Proclamation of Independence and who read it — and the 11 sectors are taught on a map.
bcsmate.com
BCS Mate — Knowledge map
08 / 15Knowledge mapThe whole syllabus as one network: subject, section, topic, sub-topic. Dashed lines join topics across subjects, dotted lines join topics whose questions overlap, and the view switches between network, radial and orbit layouts, coloured by mastery, subject or revision.
bcsmate.com
BCS Mate — Question bank
09 / 15Question bankEvery BCS question, browsable by subject and topic with a count per topic — 50 under the Liberation War alone. Each question shows the BCS paper it came from and the share of candidates who got it right, and any question can be starred into flashcards.
bcsmate.com
BCS Mate — Daily live test
10 / 15Daily live testThe daily live exam: 20 questions in 15 minutes, the same paper for everyone, with a subject-by-subject map on the right to skip ahead and come back. Results feed a merit list and a 30-day leaderboard.
bcsmate.com
BCS Mate — OMR model test
11 / 15OMR model testThe full preliminary rehearsal — 200 questions, 120 minutes, −0.5 per wrong answer. Questions on the left, a real OMR sheet on the right with set code and registration number to fill in first, and, as in the hall, a filled bubble can't be undone.
bcsmate.com
BCS Mate — Flashcards that schedule themselves
12 / 15Flashcards that schedule themselvesEvery wrong answer becomes a flashcard. Rate how well you remembered it — forgot, hard, good, easy — and spaced repetition sets the next review: tomorrow, in three days or in six. The explanation stays on the back of the card.
bcsmate.com
BCS Mate — Statistics
13 / 15StatisticsProgress you can see: the estimated score climbing toward the target line over seven weeks, minutes studied per subject each day, the revision load due over the next 14 days, and the state of all 300 topics — not started, weak, improving or good.
bcsmate.com
BCS Mate — Current affairs
14 / 15Current affairsNews cut down to what BCS asks — here, Bangladesh at 84th of 122 countries in the 2026 Global Hunger Index, with its neighbours' ranks and sources. Filter by Bangladesh or world, by topic, by importance or date, and open the likely questions under each item.
bcsmate.com
BCS Mate — AI tutor
15 / 15AI tutorThe tutor opens beside a practice question and already knows which page you're on. It searches the question bank and reads your progress and mistakes before answering, explains why the right option is right and yours was wrong, and can save notes and flashcards for you.
